Question Hershey Advice?

Hey all -

I am in the process of doing a bunch of upgrades and am curious about people's experience with Hershey acquisitions.

I am looking for:
Cat Bypass
Steve Wong Chip
Strut Brace
Sway / Torsion Bars
Bushings
Turbo Tie Rods
etc.
Also need to lower the car!

Is Hershey a good place to aquire parts like this OR is more geared towards restoration stuff?

Need to decide how much $$$ to bring....

Thanks - jcsnyc

I'm fairly certain you could build a car from parts purchased at Hershey. So, bring lots of $$$.

everything you want will be there, the tough part will be finding them and buying them before someone else does. every year i roam every aisle several times and always find something else that i missed the trip before.

as others have said, bring lots of cash and be sure to be able to make change! i hear the hollywood casino is near the park, so any leftover money will have a place to be spent. i'll be there saturday night and (hopefully) doing the autocross on sunday.

Great advice. I plan to bring extra cash and have a short (long?) list of items I "need".

Next big question:
Can I fit torsion and/or sway bars in a 84 Targa for the drive home (if I am able to pick up a pair???) or do I need to bring the SUV .

No idea on size outside of car.

Torsion bars - no problem. Sways will fit but may have to go between seats or at an angle - I'm sure they will fit. Bring lots of rags/old sheets/garbage bags to wrap them in - they may be greasy.

I live close to Hershey and if anyone would need something shipped home I'd be willing to take care of that. Of course pay for the shipping and buy me a beer at Troggs brewery as a nominal fee. PM me and I'll forward contact info

The doors open for vendors at 6:30. I've heard it's open at 7:30 for everyone else but don't quote me on that...

Can I put that Carrera GT V-10 engine in my 84 Targa? Beers to anyone who helps me get it done in the Hershey parking lot!

Iceman - definitely clear will be a lot of used parts. I am ready to buy new if I can't pick parts up at Hershey. Hoping to see some vendor discounts as well???
