Oil line to tensioner question?

On my 84 3.2 there is no bracket stabilizing these small oil lines. Is this an upgrade to add the brackets? I assume this is to prevent the lines from cracking like the one on my motor just did.

Thanks,

Tim

the brackets generally come in the kits. yes, they do stabilize the small metal oil line. they were added after the 84 cars had line breaking problems.

I have an 84, and John's comment concerns me. Does anyone have a picture of this bracket installed? Can they be bought at Pelican?

Thanks.

Hey... I don't have an oil temp sender on the left side. What year it that? Mine is on the right near the crank pulley. Just did that oil line update on mine, left only. Should have done both at the same time.
