Oil Line Life
What's the typical life of the oil lines? I've got an '84 with 125,000 miles and the lines look ok. Many of the smaller lines are fairly inexpensive and I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to replace them before I have a problem. Are there certain ones that tend to fail more than others?

On my '82 SC (50,00 miles) the S-line from the internal cooler to the oil tank was seeping. It had aged and become brittle. I replaced it and the 2 other lines running to and from the thermostat for fun.
You should plan on replacing your S-hose for sure. After you drain the oil it's a five minute job. PB |

While doing my chain tensioner update on the '83, I was more than happy to be replacing the cam oil lines. They were pretty sad. "S" hose probably not a bad idea too.
