Power seat 89 3.2 one working, one not

For a few months, been dealing with blown fuse #1 for power windows - though I thought I solved it- replaced the window relay. No issues for months then was hit with blow fuse - blown just by turning ignition on - not even moving the window switch. Took the car to mechanic, they solved the window (fuse) issue.
Now, both "two power switches on the driver's side" it's a 4-way -had been working before I took the car in, now only the front vertical/longitudinal control works, not the recline rear one. They both worked before I too it to the shop. Any Ideas?

Question: do both switches work off the same power supply? I do not see how this could be a switch issue since both worked before service?

Any input my Pelicans?

Thanks

It's common to have the wires fail where they exit the seat back. I had one I had to fix and noticed the passenger side was taped up when I recovered the seats.

They exit on the outside back you can pull on the wire and see if it looks damaged or you can just unplug that wire and hit it with 12 volts and see if the motor runs.
