Michael Shaw Design vs MA Shaw
Can someone shed some light on this? Are they the same person? One is MAShaw.com and the other is .biz ?? Different web sites. Copycat? Coincidence? What's going on?!?!?

Call MAshaw. (mashaw.com or mashaw.biz) Great guy to deal with in my experience. Loves to talk and delivers a great product.
(As for other sites, I doubt that he is a free style skier or web designer) ![]()

I should have said there is a .com and a .biz. BUT they have the same phone number. Odd to have two totally different web sites for the same thing. Guess it's the same guy and business.

I drove up to meet him and chatted a bit before I bought the duck tail he was holding for me. Rather spend the gas than shipping since it was 100 miles away. Very nice man. Part of his business is developing CF and Fiberglass hoods and tails and whatnot for almost every performance car you can imagine - Mercedes, BMW... Porsche of course. Everyone needs a fancy wing out back. Those parts can be marketed and sold by others. He's just designing them and getting the fabrication done.
Then he has the business where he's retailing his own product. He's maintained a stellar reputation in the industry. |

Not odd at all. Smart, in fact. You don't want some squatter or scammer to have a similar URL as your own. It's cheap to buy the .biz and know that no one else can try to use you name for their own purposes.

You missed my point Arne. Obviously protecting your trade name and e-commerce name makes sense. But having two distinctly different web sites for the same business is a little odd. And that was what generated the initial question. I am glad to hear that either is reputable however.
