Shop Recommendation in the Boston area?

Hi folks,
Assuming Spring eventually comes to New England...we got snow a couple days ago.... I'd like to have the pcar ready. I just put in the new alternator, but I have a couple other things on my list that I might not have time to do (e.g. tie-rods, brakes).

Any recommendations/good experiences for shops in the areas? Car is a 79sc if that matters.

thanks!

Eurotech, European Performance and Auto Sport Engineering in Stowe are good starters. Len from Auto Sport is a regular contributor on this board and supplies rebuilt gas lines to many. Im sure others will chime in.

I am on the southshore so I use Conway in Hanover for things I cannot handle in my garage..
Good luck!

Hey, hello all...this is my first post!
There is also Rensport in Natick, MA. I've spoken with Rene, the owner, several times, but have not had occassion yet to actually use him. Friendly, personal, small Porsche specialist shop. I've only heard good things about him. Always lots of 911s there.

For a MY79 I would not hesitate to use Shine's Foreign Car Care in Whitinsville. Russ was the head Porsche mechanic at the Porsche dealership in Worcester, back when there was one. When I lived in Douglas I would drive to EPE in Natick for things like alignment and corner balancing... FYI. There is also a new red MY86 targa in town now too!

A Porsche dealer in Worcester! I'll be on the look-out for the red '86!

Thanks for the tips all.

I have not used any of these locations (except for Len's, Auto Sport Engineering back in the 80s) but they are all highly recommended shops for our area.
