Einar's Garage Houston, TX
There is a nice little secret in Seabrook called Einar's Garage. Some of the Houston PCA guys probably know him but he has just spent the past couple of months sorting out a quagmire of a 944 Turbo that I brought him. This car has been sitting for several years and Einar and Jim patiently and methodically brought her back to life.
For being such a big city Houston is lacking in good Porsche shops and it's not hard to see why Einar's stock is going through the roof. If you are looking for a good mechanic in the Houston area you will not find a more honest and professional shop than Einar's. |

Einar really does good work. He rebuilt a 70s I gave 911 from a rusty heap to a concours quality car. I saw it in the various stages of reconstruction and was absolutely impressed. He's now helping a local boy build a 914 racer with big flares and all. Very impressive metal work.

Yikes. The problem is - he's in Seabrook. For people on the North and West side of Houston, you have other places closer: Texas German Auto-haus, Swiss Garage and even Rennsport way out at Sealy.
