SMOG fail on 86
 

Car failed the NO part of the test for 15mph.
Max is 804 for NO (PPM), and it measured 917.

I did the usual, hard run and test.

Car is in a good state of tune.
No smoke on decel or start up.

Burns about 1000 miles/1 quart.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

going to go for a second opinion in the am.

Looks to be running a bit lean. Enriching the mixture might be enough to bring your NO down for a pass.

might be done.
Guess I will find out.

I was thinking that too, but doing what's free is always best to try first.
