hi, I need help reading this wire diagram from our host. for 81 sc
if anyone can answer some of the question marks…. much appreciated!!!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1398175343.jpg

I understand the first one (page 2 circuit 30) but still can/t figure it out

30 goes to fuse 17 on the front fuse panel.

HB goes to the parking brake switch.

And this might help...

PDF titled "Understanding European DIN Wiring":

The numbers in the circles are ground locations.

thanks tirwin, ok understand most expept number one so it means page 2 circuit 30 right? so which one is page 2?

speedy 04-22-2014 06:30 AM

all the numbers along the bottom are circuits? the t means connections right? reference to what fro e.g. T1a or t1e where does that tie into??

I would suggest printing out the '78 schematic and taping the pages together where they overlap to get an understanding of how the prints work.
T1a is a terminal connection and there is a legend that gives the approximate location on the car.
For example T14 is the 14 pin connector on the rear fuse panel. T14-6 would be terminal 6 in the 14 pin connector.

The numbers along the bottom are a reference number line. When a wire just ends and says 56, above lower number line 3, go to the bottom line number 56 and look up. The line will pick up again referencing where it ended above line 3 (just an example I made up)

T1 is a single terminal connector, T2 is a 2 terminal connector, T14 is a 14 terminal connector etc.

By the way, I hate those dang DIN diagrams. I don't look at them enough to remember how to read it so I have to remind myself every time I look at them. I bought a color 11x17 laminated wiring diagram from colorwiringdiagrams.com that is much easier to read.
