Polyurathane Sway bar Bushings Opinions

Going to do a Turbo Tie Rod Upgrade on the 84' Cab and thought I might as well
take care of a few other things while it is apart. I am interested in your opinions on Polyurethane vs stock rubber ones. Car is not tracked.

Thanks

I think most would agree that poly is more firm. I have heard that poly yields less, hence the bars are more effective, (like going up one size).

Others will have to comment on durability compared to stock rubber.

I have poly in several cars and have not had "noise" issues, as is common in trailing arm or a arm bushings.

The cost difference should be minimal.

My .02, go for it.

I have had them on my 964 for about a year, car feels a bit tighter cant say its because of the poly or replacing 24 year old bushings or a combination of the two) I also did the steering rack bushings in poly..

Make sure the area where bushing meets bar is very clean ( I polished mine lightly with emery cloth, use the grease sparingly, the more you put on the more dirt will build.

If they last more than 23 more years then they are better than stock

The Ebay seller for the polyurethane bushings is djia ... 100% feedback and excellent customer service.

No affiliation since i don't use their products anymore but i would highly recommend these guys for their quality parts !
