Ground wire near coil. Where does it go?
Car is an '83. There is a ground wire on the driver side of the engine bay near the distributor. It's coming out of a wiring harness. I forgot to label this wire when I was taking the old alternator out. I think it goes on the screw post coming out of the fan shroud that the coil mounting bracket mounts to. Is this right? Will post a pic in a sec...
Thanks in advance! |

Is there any other place? Not sure though.
BTW, if you get some jeweler's rouge and a Dremel 4000, you could put a little shine on that nut and bolt. ![]()

Thanks, Dennis.
Bob, I had some parts plated when I got Mark to ceramic coat the fan. Now that part of the engine bay looks like somebody brought Lagavulin to a party where everybody else is drinking MD20/20 out of styrofoam cups. |
