Any idea what year this is correct for?

Trying to see what this belongs on. Metal anodized but no spot for a 2.7 or 2.4 badge. Thankshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1398218901.jpg

If the color is anodized black, (I can't tell from the photo), then it's just like my '73 911T. But on mine there is a plate affixed to the grill about where you have that other badge. That plate fits underneath the 2.4 grill badge and is affixed with 3M type tape.

That looks identical to what I have on my 911E. Are you selling?

Looks like a faded 72-73 grill that's had the displacement badge removed.

The displacement block was permanent on grills that had them so you could clearly see if removed.

I will be selling it.

They were attached by two very small flush mount pins. Very easy to miss when looking at a grill that has had one removed...

Like I have;)

Seriously, the pics he's posted could easily not show those two very small holes. He'd have to be looking for them and they should be right about the area where that Deutsch badge is mounted.

The holes should be on the on the 7th and 8th bars from the top starting about 5 inches in from the right.

They should be visible from underneath, so maybe whoever attached the badge filled them.

A few more thoughts -- but not much more help.
When did the grills change to plastic? Is it possible that an SC would have an aluminum grill without a badge?

I don't think Carrera 3.0's had grill badges, but I don't know if that tail used the regular grill.

Good luck -- it looks like a nice piece with original annodizing still in good shape.

My 73T has the black grille but with no badge, were could one find a nice 2.4 badge?

Thanks
Mike
