Alternative fuel pump
before i shell out for OE electric fuel pump for my 87 coupe, has anyone fitted anything other than OE, i cant belive that there is not an identical pump out there, without P part number and additional premuim!!
any ideas greatly appreciated!!

Bosch probably does sell the same pump as an OEM part to VW, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, GM, Ford, and a few other mfrs. My '92 Dodge engine has lots of Bosch F.I. parts on it ... though I haven't looked at the fuel pump!

I bought one (a Bosch) with about 2x the flow capability for around the Porsche price.
Seek and ye shall find.
