Looking for a mechanic in Denver Colorado
I have a 77 911S which was upgraded with a 86 carrera 3.2L engine.
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the Denver or Aurora Colorado area? Thanks in advance for your help. |

We have several good Porsche shops in Denver area and very active PCA region (Rocky Mt.Region www.pca.org/rmr).
Here are several reputable shops: Storz (Bob & Mike) Eisenbuds (John E. and Jim) Eurosport Ltd (Gregg Johnson) Eurosport Automotive (Dave Marshall) Prestige (yes the dealer) (Dave Petitti chief P wrench) and Motorsport (Pat Moyle) All support our region and all do good work. HTH and if you hang out with us local P fanatics --we probably can show you how to do most of the stuff yourself and make you a track junkie to boot! Bill RMR Chief Tech Inspector

More help
I sent a reply to you just after you had responded to my original post early in September. I'm not sure what I did wrong as I do not see my reply listed. In this thread.
I noticed that you live in Centennial Colorado. I do as well. I'm at Smoky Hill and Liverpool and would love to have someone look at my car and help me answer some questions before I take it to a mechanic. Would you be available to review some of these items if I bought you a cup of coffee? Some of my questions are as follows: What temp should my 911S w/3.2 run at once warmed up? My oil gage jumps all the way up to 140 a lot. Is that correct? Not sure if the short shift kit or bushings will help my shifting. What type of Oil should I be running? It is currently running Mobil 1. I have some brake light problems and a front running light problem. I just started getting a small oil leak. I do not know what to do. My car smells like gas a lot. I have questions about the dash board and how some of controls work. Thats it for now, Michael |
