Which Wheels Look Better?
I obtained an excellent set of 3 piece Speedline Mistral wheels made in Italy. They are 16". Fronts are 7" and rears are 8" wide. They fit without any spacers. What do you think. What looks better on my 83 SC?

I normally favor the original look, but I must say in this case the new set is way cooler looking

I prefer the look of the Fuchs, the Speedline wheels tend to draw my eye away from the best part, your car!! Very nice BTW.

the speedlines appear to fit better, but seem a bit shiny- consider painting the centre a slightly darker silver.
every man and his dogs has fuchs, so i'd rather see the speedlines on there. |

I like the fuch better. But I have to agree with clutch-monkey if the centers were darker might look better.

Speedlines sit slightly further out so they fill the wheel well space better especially the rear wheels. I plan on getting wider tires for the rear.

I agree as well. The wheels look cool but detract from the car so much that I don't like them after the first 30 seconds. I am not a diehard Fuchs fan (I'm considering something shinier for my car as well), but prefer the Fuchs in this instance.

I vote for the Speedlines (but would keep the Fuchs to sell with the car).
If it were me, I would colour code the Speedlines centers for a proper period 80's look.

Body Color
The speedlines punches the car up a notch. They look better, if not a tad too flashy. Is that the Rauchquartz metallic on the body?

sounds like a done deal to me, maybe a darker silver or tungsten colour (or body colour!) for the centres and it'd be perfect!

I like the fit of the speedlines but don't like the finish, a little too bright. I'd consider blacking out the center or painting it the same shade as the car.

I was also thinking to color match the center of wheels to the car.

Besides preferring Fuchs for Porsches, I've never liked the look of exposed bolt heads on multi-piece wheels. The Speedlines are nice wheels, but I wouldn't run them.
Just my opinion, though. Your car, your choice.
