New Porsche home

I have decided to take a new job and I will be moving from Indy IN to Fullerton CA. Can anyone give me some info on good roads, clubs, car shows and other things to do related to Porsches

Welcome from another ex-Hoosier! You'll soon find that So Cal is Car-Mecca. It'll spoil you for anywhere else in the country.

I can't speak to the driving roads near Fullerton, but you should definitely make it to Mulholland Drive and also the Angeles National Forest. Great roads around those areas. Just Google them and you'll find plenty of information.

I strongly suggest that you go to Cars and Coffee in Irvine each Saturday morning. It's at the corner of Alton and Gateway and there are always plenty of Porsches that show up. It's in the Mazda parking lot (formerly the Ford Premier Auto group Headquarters). Be aware that it starts at about 6:30 and ends around 8:30 so it's an early morning - but well worth it.

Rick - no idea what car you have but unless it's a pre 75 (I think thats the cutoff) it needs to be smog compliant, hope it is!

Ortega Highway may be closer to Fullerton. Several active PCA regions, and POC for the racer in you.

Oh, you'll enjoy the gasoline prices in La La Land! And they are even "better" should you choose an octane above 91.
