Question about Fuch wheels?
I have a 1989 Porsche 911 with 6x16 in the front and 8x16 in the rear. I don't like the look of the 6x16 in the front. I want a little deeper look in the front. I've done some research and there's three different types 7x16's 911.361.020.44 (early, 77-84), 911.362.115.00 (late, 85 on) and 951.362.115.00, add'l clearance for larger calipers I want the one that has the deeper look and I don't have to do any modification to the car to make them fit Thanks for any help

I believe that the 2 911-specific wheels are essentially identical, and that the 7" 951 wheel actually looks nearly identical to the 6 inch 911 wheel you're looking to get away from.
I am running 911-specific 7 inch wheels up front on my '86 -- I needed to roll the insides of my front fenders to keep my 205/50-16 continental extreme contact dw tires from rubbing. This is a common issue that many (not all) folks going to 7" front fuchs run into with narrow (not wide) body 911s and you can find some easy(ish) solutions by searching the archives. |

Yup, the 951 wheels look the same as the 16x6 you have, won't gain the deeper look you are after. Go with either go the 911 numbers.
