Rain vs. Porsche
Here's a good one.
Every time it rains, my dome lights actually come on when I open the doors. A day after it starts raining, I have to once again turn them on manually. With this last rain storm, my steering wheel began squeeking when I turn it. Strange I know. How do I remedy? Is it an easy fix or does it involve a special tool to remove the steering wheel, etc.? Only got it a few months ago. The first snow storm should be full of surprises.

Pull off the rubber nipple on the door contact. Use an 11mm socket to remove the contact, the take a small wire brushe to the back side of the contact. It will be obvious which parts need wire brushing.
As to the steering wheel squeaking, it's your horn contact. Pop off the center of your wheel. Remove the 27mm nut that attaches the wheel to the shaft. Grab the wheel and wiggle it back and forth till it pops off the shaft. Lubricate the horn contact. Reassemble. Note: Use a center punch to mark the wheel and steering shaft so that you get the wheel back in the correct place.

LOL, I don't know about P-cars, but my old truck's lights only come on when I open the door after rain or if I squirt some WD40 into the doorswitch. Sounds to me like your doorswitch is sticking and the humidity/water is loosening them temporarily. Can't answer your steering wheel question though.
