dizzy vacuum advance leaking oil 3.0

I thought I had and oil leak from the dizzy oil ring but it turned out to be leaking from the vacuum adv. and the dizzy weep hole. I spent all winter fixing oil leaks but this one is kicking my butt. I drove it without the rear tin and could see the oil dripping.
Could this be possible, any ideas?

To be leaking, the distributor would need to be full of oil and the diaphram would have to be ruptured..so nothing is running properly.

Maceropa:

There is an oil line that connects right above/near the distributor on the 3.0L. It could be a loose connection there? Just a thought, since it is hard to see when the distributor is in front of it...looking from the rear of the engine into the engine compartment.

The oil is leaking from the mounting flange of the VA to the dizzy and from the weep hole. Engine runs fine. I drove the car tonight without the rear tin and thought it was the dizzy o ring but its not. Could oil come up through the shaft drive?
thanks guys

there is a seal below the top bushing as well as an archimedes seal on the shaft. if it's in the vacuum diaphram and hose, it's probably getting the oil through the intake either by oil bearing vapor (blowby) or an overfill issue. pressure sensors on 914s often had oil in them via the vacuum hose from the intake manifold. pull the cap and see if it's in the body too.
