911/01 tranny without neutral !

Hi all

I am looking for a 911/01 gearbox. So I found one but when I move the selector, I can find every gear but I can't find neutral. There is always on gear on

Any idea
Just an adjustment or tranny is good for the trash ?

It sounds like the shift forks may be incorrectly adjusted. Remove the selector fork from the bottom of the tranny. You can see the 3 selector rods there. Each has a notch that allows the shift selector rod to rotate and select gear stacks. the notches should align in the middle. If not, the tranny has to come apart to adjust them. It is a simple process.

best of luck.
