installing front calipers - where do you grease

the hardware- pins/spring/etc or other? thanks

Nowhere, just clean and dry.....the grease just makes it all sticky. When the hardware gets corroded it should be replaced.

hey thanks - how about backs of new pads - have read some people saying grease them. Come to think of it they sell caliper grease - what's it used on?

Just take a scotchbrite pad and rub until it shines and there are no obstructions to pads sliding on the pins.
