What are the largest size wheel front and rear adapters (inches or mm) I can use on my 87 Targa with 7 and 8 Fuchs?
What are the largest size front and rear wheel spacers (inches or mm) I can use on my 87 Targa with 7 and 8 Fuchs without replacing the wheel studs???? What would you Pelican heads do if you did not race you Porsche, but simply want it to look and handle like a rice rocket rapist ???? JF

Does anyone the size of Porsche wheel studs? I was told they are 66mm. Does that sound right?

I have 16x7 & 8's on my 78, and couldn't imagine running spacers in addition to this. The tires are already peeking out from the arches.

On my 87 I have a 1/4" spacer on the fronts using the original studs. Could not imagine having a thicker spacer than that without new studs. On the rears I have a 21mm H+R rear extension.
Some photos here ![]() I think it fills out the rear arches nicely without worrying about rubbing or too much moment arm on the bearings.

I tried to put 1" adaptors on my '87 with 8" & 9" Ruf wheels... it didn't work...
