Emergency Brake rebuild
I am rebuilding emergency brake on 77 911 coupe. Have everything apart except cannot remove plastic hand grip from brake lever. Does anyone have a good tip, or know how to remove?
Thanks in advance

I couldn't figure it out so I just taped mine off, sanded the metal and resprayed it. Its held up and looked quite nice for the past 5 years.
Regards Dave

It is glued on with some thin adhesive. I had to take mine off with a vise grip and thereby trashed it. Porsche sells a new version, but its got a pebbled plastic texture. I was able to smooth out the texture using a lot of fine grit sand paper and different varieties of plastic polish.
