Part # for the little connector on the distributor?
I recently converted to Pertronix points and now I'm thinking about going back to original style points. When taking out the old points, I broke the little plastic fitting that passes the connection from the points inside the cap to the connection for the tach and cdi that's outside the cap. Can someone help me identify the part number or locate it on the Pelican site? I searched under distributor stuff, but couldn't find that part.

It would probably help you to get a useable answer if you were to give us the year and model of your car, the engine type, and distributor type/number. Without that information, we're shootin' in the dark.

Try ************ dot com, they have a lot of rare distributor parts.

The car is a '73 911 T.
The distributor is a Bosch 0-231-169-009 I installed the Pertronix on advice of a friend to help resolve a problem I'm having. It didn't help with the problem and after installing the Pertronix, my tach stopped working. So, I'm switching back as a problem determination tool, but I'm likely to leave the regular points in there once I convert back. |
Friends don't let friends use Pertronix modules .................... I see no reason why the tach would stop working, though, unless you moved the black/purple wire to the wrong place.
