0il thermostat

In taking the oil line from the tank to the thermostat due to a leak I found that somebody had cross threated the fitting. My question does anybody no the size of the treaded portion of the thermostat and where I could fine a die to recut the threats

The thread is a M30 X 1.5 die. I bought one to fix the threads of my car oil lines, it will work with the threads or the oil lines and the external thermostat. I got my from Ebay, for $22.99. Also I went to many machine shops around my area to see if they can fix the threads for me, but neither have the M30 die, I wasted more gas and time running around than buying one and doing it myself. Hope this help.
