raising a Recaro SRD?

OK, so I got the seats in my car in replacement of stock non sport seats.

They sit much lower. What techniques are out there to raise the rear of the seat a bit, say 3/4's of an inch? The front is fine as is.

thanks

A spacer and longer bolt is what I used when I had race seats in my SC. I think I found the spacers at Lowe's/Home Depot in the hardware section.

My idea works with bottom mounted seats. If you have side mounts I'm not sure what to suggest. Sorry about that.

There were factory spacers on the passenger side of my '85 that raised the seat about 1/2". Not sure if it's worth the trouble, but you may be able to find some in the classifieds or at a dismantler. P/N is 911 521 493 02 listed in the seats section of the PET.

A section of sturdy square tubing laid down works well.

Took me a long while to rise my LS seats correctly. The recaro sliders I had didn't really mate with the seats or the riser rails very well. I had to drill new holes. And yes, and new longer at least grade 8 bolts...
