What's the best leather seat restorer?

I've read alot about several different leather cleaners, oils, dyes and crack fillers like Lexol and leatherique. What's the best to put some life into some really dry and cracked seats?

Leatherique's "Rejuvenator Oil" is the best thing I've ever seen.

I guess I'd need a definition of really dry and cracked. If you can see the foam between the cracks and it feels like cardboard it may be time for new leather, otherwise the leatherique or Neetsfoot oil by Lexol and I think there is another product used with saran wrap I have heard of that works. I have used the Neetsfoot oil with some sucess and I swear by the leatherique, you do need to do mutiple applications of either product over the coarse of a few days to get results, after all, the leather did not get dry and cracked overnight, give it some time to work and good luck !

I bought baseball glove conditioner for about three bucks at my local hardware store. It contains Neetsfoot oil which I believe is the best thing for dry leather restoration.

The expensive leather restorers contain Neetsfoot oil.

I applied the oil three or four times a day for about ten days on some twenty year old leather seats. I rubbed it in and had fun doing it because with each application the seats got softer. It was a lot of rubbing though.

I am not sure if this is the "proper" approach. But has really taken my seats from hard to soft. Now if I were to apply black dye to my seats, they would be like new.

I was very happy with the results. It's isn't one of those "instant" cures, but for 3 bucks--it's not a bad investment.
