Wink Porsche 911SC Anniversary editio, ever seen one?

Hi,

I own a Porsche 911SC anniversary edition from 1982. Am looking for simular cars. Only 200 were built. Know of two others now, one in the US and one in Italy.

See more of the car and lots of SC info on:

www.renspels.com

Thanks!

There's a guy in my local PCA chapter with one. He likes it because it's a little different, but like me thinks that they tend to be over-priced. Even though they're rare, they're also just ordinary Porsches with a special color scheme. Given a choice between an '82 SC for $14,000 and a "Ferry" edition for $17,000, I'd pick the former and use the $3000 for upgrades.

There is one in garage of vacant house here in Shreveport. The owners have moved to another city. Car is covered in garage. Trying to locate owners through a mutual friend. I think the car may be for sale.

The color of those "Weisach" editions is just about the same color as my car. In fact, it has the Burgundy interior like the one in the pics referenced above. I'll try to post the image here, but a pic is posted on Mark's "Porsche Owner's Gallery." My color is a bity darker, but the two colors have very similar characteristics. Check it out. I VERY MUCH like the color of my car. I am considering spraying the wheels to match the body color, like the Weissach cars.

The anniversaru edition is easily recognisable, it has ferry Porsches signature on the headrest. Does yours have that?
