82 SC Alternator ground connection
I'm in the process of final assembly of my 82 3.0 and despite the dozens of pictures that I took during disassembly, I'm at a loss as to where the thick ground wire connects to the alternator. I've read various posts that indicate that it may connect to one of the studs that the air deflector cone bolts to, but those studs are too big for the eyelet on the wire. I've got a pretty good picture of the wires connecting to the back of the alternator so I don't think it connected to any of those terminals but I could be wrong. Does anyone know where this wire is supposed to connect on a SC with the internal voltage regulator?
Thanks in advance, Brian Petry Springboro, OH |

Not sure which alternator you have, but here is one with internal regulator.
