Fixing Acceleration Pump Cover Leaks
The Zenith TIN has (3) separate pumps for the acceleration jets. The pump covers are die-cast Zinc. They are not flat from the factory, and tend to deform over time as you try to torque the screws tighter to stop the leaks. New rebuild kits come with very thin pump diaphragms. They really can't absorb the variation in the cast surface.
So get some 600 grit wet sandpaper and a flat surface and cut them flat. Throw in brand new springs from alfa1750, and you should not leak anymore. ![]()
