when I remove the oil cap at correct idle of 880, the idle stays the same. My understanding is that i have a vaccum leak... I recently changed my rear shocks and removed the airbox cover, one breather hose (i re installed it) and hung the large black rubber hoses to provide some space... Where should I look for it? |

I was told to check the hoses that run to the oil tank and check the boot on the intake. I guess the boots over time will develop small cracks that allow air in.

Spray some Quick Start spray (Motomaster @ Cdn Tire) around hose joint and the like.
If the revs go up, you found your leak(s).

There are also 2 small hoses that connect to a valve on the back of the throttle body, IIRC. Very common for these to become disconnected.
