WTB 1978 Porsche 911 SC fan housing

looking for a fan housing for a 1978 911 SC or someone who knows how to weld magnesium. Mine has cracked and the alternator fan is rubbing against it. Thanks

Go over to the used parts forum. You'll have one bought quick. If you've got a 901 106 101 5R,
I sold one for $340 shipped a while back (just to give you a baseline) If you've got a 930 106 102 3r or 4r I think I paid about $400 used for one. You can also buy a new aftermarket housing but I don't recall who made it off the top of my head.

However, it was never returned to me after I was told it was cracked and charged for a new one...by a shop with connections to this forum.

Lower head and shake in deniable shame...lesson learned.
