Very cool…except there is nothing even close to NOVA. bummer.

Lot's of pure gas in BFE.

My engine is really not broken in yet, but I must push on the fast button too much, cause I do not get 20 mpg and certainly not 100! The poor gas we can buy here in Illinois probably contributes to the fuel consumption.

I rarely drop below 20mpg. The two closest gas stations(convenience stores) to the house have 100% fuel and I run that exclusively figuring that 911 system wasnt made for ethanol.

Thanks for reminding me about the ethanol-free station finder - I've checked it from time to time, without luck, but it looks like two new stations have been added to the list, and both are in my neck of the woods. Here's to being able to get the fuel my cars were intended to run, and incidentally getting around 10% better mileage from ethanol-free fuel.

Currently I get around 21 mpg, driving on mostly country roads, which encourages spirited driving. I do notice that when I "get on it" more often that my mpg goes down noticeably - big surprise, right? My oil consumption hovers a bit above 1 qt per 1K miles in my '84 Targa with 140K miles.
