door buzzer
I have a 1980 Porsche 911 and the door buzzer does not work. Does anybody know where it is located so i can replace it

Not sure if it's the same as in my 85 but mine was under the cowl panel in the trunk area on the drivers side

If it's just the door buzzer, there is a 2-wire plug that connects to the ignition switch assembly. You'll probably have to take the driver's seat out to get where you can see it. It is fairly common for people to disconnect it because of how annoying it is.
The buzzer relay could be bad or the door contact switch could be bad. A bad switch is also another reason people disable the buzzer. There are quite a few threads on the subject. Do a search and a lot of info should turn up. It's just a process of elimination kind of problem.
