1977 Air Conditioning Equipment

When I bought the car it had no compressor. Being in Newfoundland Air Conditioning is something I won't need.

While repairing the gearbox with everything removed from the car I decided to do some other things. One thing was remove all the existing air conditioning parts. The compressor was already missing but I have the condenser and blower from the smugglers box. I also have the two lines that run from the front to rear of the car. There is one other hose I don't have removed yet and its giving me a little trouble, maybe when I get the rear of the car back on the ground I'll jack the front and try to get it out. Other than that I'll cut it out so it won't be any good.

Is this gear any good to anyone here on the forum? You can have it for the cost of shipping.

If so send me a message and we can arrange shipping.

Some documentation on the removal process would be appreciated.

I have yet to complete the A/C removal on my 1977, the compressor and exchanger went years ago but I never got back to do the rest.

Tradition has people weighing the parts they have removed, guess it's a confirmation of sorts.

About the value, cannot answer that.

I tried to give away the compressor and coils and hoses from my '84 and nobody wanted them. They are still stuffed in a box in the back of the shop.

The used parts don't have much if any value. Those of us who want/need to keep our A/C are much more likely to upgrade to higher efficiency evaporators and condensers, rather than find used stock parts. And the hoses are worthless anyway. If I were you, I go ahead and cut the hoses to remove them. No loss to anyone.
