GAHH vs World Upholstery? (blue int.)

Pelican now sources from both GAHH and from World Upholstery. Anyone have strong opinions on which company provides better quality leather and carpet?

I'm about to begin an interior resto project of my 1980 911 SC targa, finished in hellblau metallic with navy blue interior (standard seats). If anyone has had experience replacing a blue interior in an SC, I'd be much obliged for any insight on color matching and suppliers!

From Autoberry. The leather actually matches better than the original old leather to the rest of the interior.

GAHH provided me with samples of the leather they used for my seats before I committed, you might want to see if you can get like samples from both suppliers and decide for yourself.

Real happy with the results I got with GAHH supplies and my local upholstery shop's service (auto weave in lakewood, co)

I had my seats done last week by the local upholstery guy recommended to me by another 911 owner. He does work for the Porsche dealer, and he used the GAHH covers on my burgundy seats, and they look great. He knows way more than I, and says GAHH are the best he's used on Porsches, FWIW.

World Upholstery is where I purchased my leather dash skin, seat skins, and the half cow hide for the rear deck and side panels. All matched up perfectly. They also carry carpet/leather dye if you need it. I was very much satisfied with my purchase although it was over 13 years ago.

But I did recently purchase the carpet/leather dye.

I would think price and after purchase service/help would be the consideration when dealing with reputable upholstery shops.

GAHH also, now, offer a fitting service.

bought some german vinyl a couple years back from WU. my interior guy loved it and said it was some of the best he has ever worked with.
