new oil pressure light switch washer fail
I installed this switch and torqued to spec. Failed crush washer leaked oil all over the place. Not to mention had to pull the engine because oil was all over the place and I never thought a new switch would have been the cause.

Looks to me as if the crush washer was either the wrong size, or not properly seated on the switch when it was tightened down.

Oil pressure switch washer........
Could you get the washer off the switch now? The washer should be snag and won't come off from the switch even for old used ones. Looking at the picture you posted, the washer looks like it could come off the oil pressure switch. Keep us posted.
