chain tensioner cover
while cleaning the engine bay I notice a wire dangling from the left chain tensioner cover. it doesn't seem to have a post that i can mount it to. does anyone have an idea/

Lucky you. The wires go to that TTS right there in front of you. Someone's been nice and replaced the connector with one that won't fit the pin. It matters which wire goes on each terminal, but a wiring diagram will tell you that. Hint: One connector is larger than the other, and they're at a right angle to the axis of the wire.
