73 rear bumper seal

Hi Guys,

I am fitting my rennspeed rear bumper and I am confused as which way to install the rubber seal. I understand the pointy part faces the wheel to give it a finished edge but there is a groove running through it and I am unsure how this sits under the lights. Does the metal fin under the lights sit in the groove and is the groove on the outside or on the inside..?

Any help would be much appreciated..

George

The grove is on the inside and the fin under the lights fits in it. The original seals had a glue strip on top that was supposed to hold it in place

Thanks for the help. I have fitted it up that way and it make sense now and looks right with the light assembly in too.

Cheers,

George

George, do you have a part number for the seal you are installing? and what is the uncut length?

Thanks,

~Chris
