Accelerator Cable, Slack Adjustment or Broken Part?
![]() Hopefully someone can help with this fix. I've got slack in the cable at the point where it goes through the bracket. It's about 1/2 inch, and it keeps me from getting full throttle. Much Appreciated! SC |

That appears to be the cruise control cable.
The throttle linkage is NOT cable type. I would suggest adjusting the throttle linkage to get full throttle. A helper can verify as you push down the accelerator pedal. You shouldn't have the cruise set when in full throttle mode anyway. ![]()

The 6sided nut you see at the mount is the adjustment to take the slack out. Of line to throttle.
