Well I went to Wal-mart and parked my car away from everyone.
Someone dented the front driver side fender just behind the headlight. Its to deep to have paintless dent removal I think. my question is should I have the dent repaired and painted or maybe find a used fender and go that route. It really burns my a$$ that someone did this and just left. what do you guys think? ![]()

Jerry, i would at least have a paintless dent guy look at it ,thats free .If he can't fix it then on to reg body shop.
It is a real shame that some people are not willing to take responibility for thier actions. Hope you get it fixed properly. Jerry |

Jerry,
That sux big time. Which WalMart was it? You park far away and this still happens. This is why I sometimes drive my Ford Taurus. If I don't feel right about a certain place, I'll take the Ford. Even when I make a quick run to the grocery store I'm wondering about my p-car. Good luck getting it fixed. |

One other thing. The person who hit your car probably drives a piece of s*** where you wouldn't notice a dent on it anyway. They had nothing to lose.

It happened at walmart in Roswell on Mansell rd. I had to run over there to a bldg. that I work at and on the way home I stopped in to get some gunk engine cleaner. I have been in the process of cleaning up the engine. I stopped at a car wash on the way home to do the engine when I noticed the dent as I walked around it. I know it happened at the walmart because I just wiped down my car before I drove it so I would have noticed it.
No paint chipped off but it dented in a good 1 1/2" . I am pretty sure it can't be removed with out real body work and paint. Well its allways something. Just one more project to do on the car I sure eventually I will have the whole car repainted but it still has a little more life in it. Anybody know who does good body/paint work around Atlanta and doesn't charge an arm and a leg? It looks like I am going that route for now.

I just had the paintless dent remover at my car last week. I had a small dent in the top of the fender and he did a great job of removing that one. I also had a small very small door ding on the paxs door. The paintless dent remover could not gain access to the dent and said he would have to have the door panel off. I told him that I would take it off and call him. Today I have spend part of the day removing the panel and guess what? The door has some sort of extra material in the inside of the door. It appears to be some sort of sound matting that is bonded to the inside. It is painted like the rest of the door so I am sure it is from the factory. It is going to be difficult to work out the dent with this extra layer of something like fiberglass sticking to the door. Anyone know what this is all about?
