3.2 Wiring help

Hello,

Looking for a little help on wiring a 3.2 engine harness. This is in our project car, and I just want to make sure what wires are needed to start the car using a Porsche 3.2 DME. this is using the engine harness to the DME and then utilizing the wires that need power, ground and other to start the car. If anyone could help that would be great!! I guess I would call this a hardwired setup not using any other factory harnesses that would be in the chassis of the car.

You need to take special note of any loose black wires at the DME end of the harness. If you have to wire in the DME relay from a cut harness, there are multiple black wires, of which only certain ones get 12v. So all I am saying is be careful and double check the pinout on any wires you supply power to, as this will save your Motronic box from destruction.

As I remember, there is a black wire for the factory dash gauge upshift light that should not get 12v supplied to it, hence my caution on multiple black wires.
