911 3.0sc to 1969 conversion. Bonnets differences

Hi everybody!

As some of you know, I want to make some kind of a early RS clone. So I'm installing install 1969 long bonnet on my 3.0sc.

Question is:
Do I need to rebuild a lock socket in car's body or not? I mean:

Will it work or upgrades needed?

Yes, you have to change that. Also, the fenders, lights, bumpers and other things.

Tonizzos,
Thanks! That's right! Maybe my fiber bonnet is "SC-ready". I need to check it.

To make the conversion correctly, you need to change it. It requires cutting out the old parts and welding in the new ones. Most people call it a lock panel.

You might try a search. The procedure has been documented many times before.
