There are two polymide fuel ines that run through the center tunnel. The factory tunnel lines change over to rubber lines at the front through a barbed connection. One line attaches to the front fuel pump discharge and the other (return) goes to the tank. At the rear of the tunnel, there are two connections, one goes to the rear fuel pump inlet, the other connects to the return line off the CIS system to the left of the intake manifold.

is it a hard line? - it is rubber that transitions to polyamide/polyimide forward of the tunnel as Dennis said - yes it goes thru the tunnel but the reference to CIS was a slight error and doesn't apply for 84-89 at least.

![]() ![]() The tunnel lines and the front hoses on a 88 930 are described as above. However, the rear are rubber hoses; the feed from the tunnel goes to the inlet of the rear pump, and then it goes to the filter and then the CIS Accumulator & Fuel Distributor. The return is a hose from the FD forward to the tunnel. I make Metric replacements for all of the above; tunnel lines and F&R hoses in E-85 rubber or braided SS.
