'80 SC aftermarket A/C delete

Hi,

I'm owner of a '80 SC coupe, that was delivered without A/C from factory.
The previous owner had an A/C installed afterwards as it was a California car.

When I collected the car the compressor, rear condenser and condeser blower were already deleted.
Now I still see that I have the receiver/dryer, front condenser and evaporator housing in the smuggler box. It looks like they were the original porsche parts that were used to build the A/C.

But how does a car deliverd without A/C looks like?
Should the smuggler box be empyty?
Should there be no receiver in the left front wheel housing?
And is there a protective pan under the front if there is no front condensor?

I would like to delete all this items as it will be a significant weight loss afterwards and the car back to more original.

Where is BE? BTW you will save about 30 pounds by removing the items you mentioned. If you search non-a/c cars, you can find the ducting arrangement.
Good luck,
Dave

Now i'm getting confused.

This site mentions all US cars were provided with standard A/C.
Simon's Porsche 911 SC Site

I requested it at Marc Noack from porsche and he told me that the car was delivered without A/C

BE means Belgium
