The Bigfoot SC

I have found this on a french website.
I think this a hella sweet car. I hope
they also dropped that nasty flat-six
for a good old american V8 !
Any comments ?

SSHHHH! That's the SCWDP desert and swap attack vehicle. There are actually hundreds positioned at stratigic points around the globe awaiting orders to deploy. Hopefully this post will go unnoticed as the mission is strictly hush hush!

I'd love one if the price was right.

Although I'm not sure about the black nudge bars. Colour coded would have been more subtle.

About ten years ago there was a guy in S.E. England that used to build this type of thing for £15,000. Range Rover mechanicals and whatever body you wanted on top of them. He used to drive one with MGB bodywork.

We were on a Porsche fun run a couple years ago and we ended up at Hooters in Newport Beach when this monster drove by on Newport Blvd:

The white Bigfoot SC was made in 1978, from a Mitsubishi 4x4 drivetrain. It also used the Mitsubishi engine, a 4 cylinder diesel !
I hope the rest of the Porsche has had a happier life...
