blower strap torque

hi
does anyone know what the torque spec is for the fan strap allen head screw for a 1975 911s 2.7 cis

Hello

The 74 should have the single M10 bolt strap and the normal torque specs for M10 are around 35 NM.

Not sure where your problem is, either the threads are striped then use a longer bolt and a additional nut, tilt the strap sideways so the nut is showing down.

Or your strap "seem" to short but thats maybe becourse the fanhousing didn´t sit correct in the guiding pin.
