What happens if !!!!

Ok so cold start is not an issue warm start is easy with extra spark from a msd unit

What would happen if the WUR, AAR ,cold start valve and AAV were all disconnected still had vacuum advance on dissy.

Just askin

If you are asking weather or not the car will start, thats hard to say. I would bet there are climate and environment factors that come into play here. If it were very cold out I would say it may start and if it does you are looking at some rough running until its warmed up. If a warmer climate you may be ok. Keep in mind early engines did not have this stuff so it is possible to start and run an engine with out them. For what its worth my '31 ford does not even have automatic spark advance, it is controlled by a lever on the steering column that you have to be quick with when the engine catches.

Regards
Dave

Assuming you have a 76 CIS set up (from your avatar.)

WUR disconnected: Will start as usual, but will run rich until ambient temp/heat sink from engine affects the bimetallic arm.

AAR disconnected: Will cold start as usual but idle will remain high as extra air is being admitted until engine heat closes the valve.

Cold start valve disconnected: Very difficult to start when cold. Not a smart move to disconnect as it puts stress on starter, battery, and possible flooding.

AAV disconnected: Will start, but will have a high or oscillating idle.
