"Information Regarding PORSCHE Vehicles Used for Sports Purposes", for 911, 911L, 911T, & 911S, printing number W351e, dated 1968, 67 pages. First section is titled: Porsche Production Competition Cars 1968. Table of contents includes: (1) Increaseing engine performance. (2) The Rally Engine. (3) The Racing Engine. (4) Camshaft tables. (5) Suggestions for transmission ratios. (6) Wheels & Tires, Shock Absorbers, Stabilizers. (7) Lowering the vehicle. (8) Roll Bar. One section describes various "kits" that can be ordered from Porsche to increase performance (i.e. Kit #9553 for the 911T, consisting of various lightened parts, and other racing mods). The section "Increasing Engine Peformance" outlines certain factory sanctioned methods of increasing power for the various 911 engines. It also talks about the "Rally engine" and the "Racing engine", etc. Under "Gearbox" there is an extensive discussion and listing of various gear ratios, and which gears were available for various purposes.
