What's up with the CHAT ROOMS???

Hello all,

I hope everyone is doing well during this difficult time.

It seems that EVERY time I go into any Pelican Chat room, NO ONE is ever there. Could this be so? When it was first set up, I would see 5 to 8 people there, all the time. I have not seen any, and I mean NOT ONE other in Java for at least the last 30 times I've logged in (3 weeks or so).

Am I doing something wrong? I don't see any posted times when to expect others. It seems that I can go whenever I want, but even now, NO ONE is in ANY other the rooms. What's up with that? It was great for a quick fix when it started. WHERE IS EVERYONE???

Actually, I think the chat room would be a good place for some of the nut cases to get it off their chests. Especially if Wayne would be so kind as to line the walls with foam rubber!

Hi Wayne,

Thanks so much for your input! I'm honored. I think that's a great idea. I know that enough people surf this site ALL THE TIME, during reasonable hours, as you can see by the response times on each thread.

When you opened the room, you requested for people to go to the chat room, and within minutes, there were at least a dozen in there. I just wanted to make sure my system was operating correctly with the Chat Room. I think you've done an outstanding job with all of us here in our Pelican "cult". Keep up the good work and most of all........
